FAQ

What is Toloo?

Toloo is a private web app for teens and young adults who freeze before a test or cannot shut their brain off at 2 AM. You get a 3-minute reset, grounding tools, and a chat that listens. It is not therapy, not a meditation streak, and not emergency care.

Use the free exam panic reset with no account. Parents can read how it works for ages 13+.

What is Toloo?

Toloo is a private web app for teens and young adults who hit exam panic or 2 AM thought spirals. It combines a 3-minute reset, grounding tools, and an AI chat that listens — not another streak-based meditation app, and not therapy.

Is Toloo therapy?

No. Toloo is not therapy, diagnosis, or a crisis service. It is a 24/7 decompression space for everyday stress. If you already have a clinician, keep them. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or findahelpline.com.

What should I do at 2 AM when I can't sleep from anxiety?

Name what is looping, dump it in writing or a short chat, then use a 3-minute grounding or breathing reset instead of scrolling. Toloo is built for that exact window: private, no appointment, usable from bed. It will not replace sleep medicine or emergency care.

Does Toloo help with exam anxiety and test freeze?

Yes — that is a primary use case. The free 3-minute exam panic reset on /panic is a structured fight-or-flight interrupt. After you sign in, chat and check-ins cover the same school-pressure loop without a waitlist.

Is Toloo private? What happens to what I type?

Chats are encrypted in transit and at rest and stored in the EU. Toloo does not sell your messages or use them to train models. Messages are sent to Anthropic so the AI can reply. It is not end-to-end encrypted. Full detail is on the Privacy page and the note “What happens to what you type.”

What age is Toloo for?

Toloo is built for ages 13 and up. Users 13–15 confirm a parent or guardian is aware. There is no public profile, social feed, or live peer matching.

How is Toloo different from Calm, Headspace, or ChatGPT?

Meditation apps often feel like homework when you are already overwhelmed. General chatbots are not designed as a private teen night-reset with crisis routing and a clear “not therapy” line. Toloo is a short ritual plus a listener for exam freeze and late-night spirals.

Is there a free trial? How much does Toloo cost?

New accounts can use the product for 14 days after signup with no card required to start chatting. After the trial, paid plans are listed on /pricing (about $7.99/month or $44.99/year in tier-1 regions; local pricing may apply). Hardship support exists if cost is the barrier.

What should parents know?

Toloo is a private space so a teen can be honest without turning it into family drama. It is not a school counselor dashboard and not a surveillance tool. Read /for-parents and /safety. For crisis, use real-world helplines — not the chat.
